We are happy to announce, that we are after 109 years in action we finally have a logo!

Running a store, isolated in the Westfjords in a tiny village did never really call for a logo for the store. Everybody in the village knew how we were and what we sold.

But now with more people coming through our village, and with our online store and own products, we felt it was a time to give the oldest original store in Iceland a logo.

The logo was designed by Goddur, that was influenced by the work of Guðmundur from Mosdal.

Guðmundur from Mosdal design and carved out the sign that is still above the entrance to the store in the year 1919.
